How to fix a non-working speaker on a 2014+ Toyota Corolla. If you have no sound from a speaker, or the music is cutting out randomly, the problem is likely a corroded connector.
The polarity for the speaker connector is: PINK/WHITE = Positive (+).
PINK/BLUE on the Left Speaker is Negative (-) and PINK/PURPLE on the Right Speaker is Negative (-).

In this video I show how to replace the corroded aluminum wire with copper wire in the speaker connector of my 2014 Toyota Corolla. This applies to 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 Toyota Corolla.
The aluminum wire gauge is 14, so 16 gauge copper is the equivalent because copper conducts electricity better than aluminum.
Remember the speaker wire colors, the Pink/White is always closest to the release clip. Pink/Purple on the right side is furthest from the release clip and Pink/Blue on the left side.
