In this video I show how to cope crown molding 3 different ways. My favorite method is the last one I show where I use a Dremel to carefully and accurately shape the profile. It works great! Give it a try! One important note… NOT ALL CROWN CAN BE COPED! Some profiles have to be mitered. The geometry on some crown just doesn’t allow for it. But for simple moldings like the one in this video, coping is a great option!
