Today we’re going to do a deep dive into the process of converting a vintage Specialized Hardrock from flat bars to drop bars. This type of project might be a nice way for you to experience a ‘new’ bike during the global shortage we’re seeing. It completely changed the ride feel and now I want to ride it more than my other bikes! In the video I mention tools: Cable Cutters: https://amzn.to/2R49Bdp Allen Wrenches: https://amzn.to/3uh6mxp ...And I talk about handlebar sizing standards. The clamp diameter can vary between products so you want to make sure that if you run a 31.8mm bar, you also run a 31.8mm stem. These are the ones that I’m using in this build: Crust BJ Stem: https://bit.ly/2PmFNbD Simworks Wonderer Handlebar: https://bit.ly/3sI13H0 Thank you for watching! /// Info about me: Design Website: https://claykippen.com/ Photography: https://www.flickr.com/photos/claykippen/ Artwork and Sketches: https://kippenitreal.com/ Music and sound effects by Epidemic sound: https://www.epidemicsound.com/music/featured/ Rebounce by shamgang Jakarta by Bonsaye
