Welcome to our first-time reaction to Speed (1994) movie. This incredible '90s action packed film is filled with some incredible heart-stopping suspense, some awesome stunts and of course an intense pace that will keep anyone at the edge of their seats.
"Speed" follows LAPD officer Jack Traven, played by Keanu Reeves, who must thwart a madman's deadly plan. The premise seems simple enough but man was it entertaining to see him doing everything in his power to avoid that bus from dropping below 50 miles per hour. Jan de Bont did a phenomenal job at consistently making the stakes more and more engaging.
The chemistry between Keany Reeves and Sandra Bullock was fantastic and it truly made this film even more entertaining than it already was.
