Backpacking trip in the Central Cascades of WA to Spider Gap and Buck Creek Pass Loop. This route has been on my "to do" list for years and back in August I finally made it happen. This has to be hands down one of the prettiest backpacking trips I have gone on in Washington! It's not easy by any means, but well worth the effort. I planned to spend 4 days backpacking with side trips to Image Lake, Miners Ridge and Flower Dome, but cut the trip 1 day short due to a recent fire that broke out near Buck Creek Pass. It was a different end to a "typical trip" and I didn't end up filming much towards the end of day 3 since it ended up being quite a long and tiring day.
Day 1: Trinity Trailhead to campsite just below Cloudy Pass
Day 2: Campsite just below Cloudy Pass to Image Lake. Side trip to Miners Ridge.
Day 3: Image Lake back to my car near Trinity Trailhead
