EDIT: This was recorded about a week before the video I made on progression; with the context of that video, you can see how much blood rites matter in the differences in clear times!
We've done it, we've finally beaten NG+20 for the first time! On a skill build ranger too! The skill build enlightening I've been going through lately is crazy. I guess the natural progression is to try out a paladin skill build next; but we'll have to see how well that goes!
This run was no joke though; we got some seriously good loot and some really good RNG on our item drops and shop rolls. 3 set of evasion, all the luck items (I think), crown of kings, boots of freedom, phoenix feather!?? What an amazing run! We also had both the spell crit items, and lots of items for sustaining our mana so we could just run through all of the rooms massacreing the enemies.
I will say however; there were some tough times where we almost died; but I pretty much knew as soon as we got crown of kings and phoenix feather the run was set in stone!
