I made a mistake in the tutorial, the Linear Repeat Effect is not free BUT it is NOT required.
Instead of using Linear Repeat Effect, just "duplicate" the shape a couple of times and "place the duplicated shapes on the left and right ends" of the shapes to mimick the Linear Repeat effect. (TUTORIAL: https://youtube.com/shorts/LwQ6DV_7rIo?si=C099W6kBLZTvawgk)
