"Spinning Wheel" by Blood, Sweat, and Tears off of their second, self-titled, album which came out in 1968 and featured Jim Fielder on bass.
Lynn heard me working on this one it made her chuckle. She went to a lot of Polish dances and other such events with her parents when she was young. He maiden name is "Malinowski" (can't get much more Polish than that) and she was the youngest of 6 kids. Her parents had her a bit later in life and would drag her along to these things. Anyway, she said that at these events, this was the only "Rock" song that would get the "old folks" out on the dance floor. How would one even go about dancing to this anyway?
I'm playing the Bruce Thomas Signature Profile bass only available from the The Bass Centre in England.
