Although Nintendo already uploaded a Splashback-like video after the FinalFest, I still wanted to finish mine. I'd actually been working on this entire Splashback for almost 2 years now. I think the idea came to me back in September 2017 and since then I've been editing the Splatfest artworks and this entire video.
At first I used "Color Pulse" as background music, because it was the only song at the time I'd be able to use in such a video. Then in 2018 I changed it up to "Into the Light", because it had a calm feeling which reminded me of the Splashback for the first game that featured "Maritime Memory". That's when I uploaded the 1st anniversary video which to my surprise blew up and I'm very thankful for that.
I really want to thank everyone for making Splatoon 2 this awesome experience. Especially thanks to all the people I got in contact with and thank you for still keeping in touch with me.
I don't want to drag on too much, so I'll just end it right here...
I hope you enjoyed this look back on the Japanese Splatfests and I hope you'll check out the other ones aswell.
Until Splatoon 3 comes out (whenever that will be), I'll still be doing different content on this channel (also Splatoon 2, of course) and that's it.... Goodbye!
