The Spotted Lanternfly arrived in New York in 2020 and is now established in 23 New York State counties. This invasive planthopper can become a nuisance in landscapes, can be found in woodlands and is a threat to vineyards. This presentation will review spotted lanternfly’s life cycle and host favorite plants. We’ll cover what you can do from preventing spread, to reporting, and management of this invasive pest.
