Sprouting, Planting, & Growing Coconuts in Florida
We have 20+ Coconut Palms growing on our property in all stages of development. But you can never have enough, so today we will be planting a few more! We will discuss why and where we decided to plant them, then get a a few in the ground! While we love the tropical feel Coconut Palms add to the landscape, we are growing them primarily for the coconuts!!! Our Coconut Palms are growing on a barrier island on Florida's central east coast, USDA zone 10a.
