This example is taken from Chapter 14 of Process Systems Analysis and Control (3rd Edition) by Donald R. Coughanowr and Steven E. LeBlanc. In this exercise, a Root Locus diagram is plotted to analyze the stability of the closed-loop control system for varying values of the proportional gain (Kc). The system is then simulated in Simulink to evaluate the controller's performance and observe the system stability different values of Kc.
