Today I am demonstrating how to use the stained glass stamp from DRS Designs to make any rubber stamps you have look like beautiful stained glass.
You can find the stained glass stamp I used here: http://www.drsdesigns.com/oval-stained-glass/
Stamps that have large open areas without too much detail work best. The Iris stamp I used is from Anita's but I think they went out of business.
You will need:
White cardstock or printmaking paper
black ink
markers
clear embossing ink
UTEE or any clear embossing powder
Heat tool/gun
scissors
Stamp the stained glass background then overstamp the focal image. Don't worry if you stamp outside the lines because you will cut it out later. Color the image with markers. Press the clear inkpad on the image and sprinkle with clear embossing powder and heat. Repeat the embossing step until you have a thick glassy coating on the image. Cut out the image and you can bend and crack it if you wish. Add to a card! You are fabulous!
