Stanton Epoch II HZ9S vs Ortofon OM40 Super

Two Top Line-Contact models..
Both the Epoch HZ9S and Ortofon OM 40 Super are low-mass cartridges even though the OM40 is over 40% lighter. The shape of the line-contact styli is very similar, both are designed to trace the record groove as close to the actual record cutter. The specifications are very close with the main difference being in the high frequency curves. The HZ9S has a gentle roll-off at 10k Hz while the OM40 is flat past 20k Hz.
