Joe Novosel presents the basic concepts needed to get you past
looking at just the moon and planets. He explains the objects
available, expectations for what you will see , getting information on objects, and how to plan for a successful observing session.
Joe has been a visual astronomer since 1987.
His telescopes include 8”, 10” and an 18” reflector along with a 3.6”
and 5” refractor. He has recently started to investigate
astrophotography. Since 2021 he has put the FWAS spectroscope to
good use on a wide variety stars and nebula.
