In this video we discuss the basic process for computing a chi-square test and more importantly, when using a chi-square test is most appropriate. Various graphing techniques are explored so data can be examined visually for patterns.
The heart of this video is the computation of a chi-square to determine with 95% confidence whether or not the die I give you is fair or loaded (certain numbers are favored due to altering it's weight).
How to state the null and alternative hypothesis is covered along with our results in APA format. We conclude by discussing how changing our p-value influences the threshold we need to reject our null hypothesis.
