Stephen Lewin Works No 683 0-4-0ST No 18 Lewin Built as a well tank by Stephen Lewin in 1877, the locomotive worked at Seaham Harbour for 93 years. In 1936 the locomotive was rebuilt as a side tank. The locomotive is now based at Beamish Museum, operating on the colliery railway. In 2019 the locomotive travelled a short distance down the round appearing as yard pilot at Marley Hill at the Tanfield Railway.
