UPDATE: Competing at the Paris Olympics, pommel horse specialist Stephen Nedoroscik helped the U.S. men’s gymnastics team win its first team medal since 2008 and won a bonze in pommel horse. Watch our profile of him from 2022:
Nedoroscik was a phenomenon in his Penn State career, winning two consecutive NCAA pommel horse titles his freshman and sophomore years. The global pandemic cut short his senior season and his plans to qualify for the Olympics on his own through World Cup international competitions. Stephen continued to train at Penn State and qualified for Team USA as a specialist for the 2021 FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships where he made history as the first American to win a world title on pommel horse.
