We were asked to demonstrate how to stick weld thin gauge square tubing with the stick welding process. First, if at all possible, SMAW is not the ideal process for welding thin square tubing. MIG or TIG would (in most cases) be a much better option.
However, since the viewer only has access to a stick welder, we are going to show you how it's done.
