This vintage Stihl 036 PRO chainsaw was dropped off at my shop for repair.
The Stihl 036 replaced the Stihl 034 PRO. The Stihl 036 was eventually replaced by the Stihl MS360, than the MS361. Finally, the current model is called the Stihl MS362 which is still in production. In Canada, a new Stihl MS362 sells new for approximately $1100.
The customer states that this beautiful saw was found in storage and it last ran over 20 years ago. He noticed that the fuel line is soft and mushy. He would like this saw gone over completely and put back into service.
