Materials used in this video:
Sheet Metal: Heavier gauges are more difficult to find. Rio Grande sells 12 gauge copper sheet (6" X 12") for 32.00. You can make your own 10, 12, 14, etc. sheet metal by sweat soldering gauges together. See my B&S gauge in millimeters & decimals, with matching drill bit sizes chart: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1U8p0Q1_tdQWByNxnBb4GovqQRQIW7MwM31mxxE0ISiE/edit#gid=0
Stones:
Cubic Zirconia makes a great practice stone. Rio Grande sells packs of 100 (3 mm) for $16.00, 2.5 mm for $13.00, etc.
Note: Sapphires, rubies, and diamonds can be reasonably priced - especially small stones. Don't rule them out! Diamonds too can be rather inexpensive for the little guys.
