More progress on the 2 door conversion 1957 Chevy. In the last few videos all the rust has been addressed, followed by an LS swap and all new tubular front suspension. So with all the Go, we need a little Woah. Naturally I ordered a cheap front disc brake kit.
The kit is later model GM disc brakes retrofitted to the classic spindles. The kit also upgrades the ball bearing wheel bearings to a tapered roller bearing. This kit was a little different than I was used to but I got it all bolted together.
With the front brakes addressed I also completely rebuilt the rear brakes, added a new metering block and a disc brake master cylinder. Ill plumb it up on the next video, BUT WE ARE MAKING PROGRESS!!
