Hi guys, another trackday - another opportunity to have fun with our sexy bikes. I'm riding the 2022 Triumph Street Triple 765 RS chasing my brother on the 2023 Aprilia Tuono 660 Factory. Both bikes are super fun on the track and pretty close on performance with the 765 slightly beating the Tuono on power.
In the first couple laps we are putting some heat into the tires before gradually turning up the heat between us. In the first 5-6 normal laps I'm matching my brother's pace but cannot find the opportunity to cleanly pass him since he's strong on the brakes and carries more mid-corner speed than me. After a few laps of studying him I found the opportunity and then proceeded doing some flying laps ending the session with my best lap of 1.12.1.
