3 days of good old bikelocamping in southern Sweden :) We ferried over from Helsingør to Helsingborg. Rode out to see the lighthouse at Kullen, then back along the north coast to find the coolest camp spot for the first night. On day 2 we hit Söderåsen, a Swedish national park with lots of cool terrain, endless gravel and technical hiking trails full of rocks, roots and mud. Pretty much exactly the kind of stuff the Beachcomber was (half) designed for (the other half being jibs and playfulness ♡). At night we lucked out on a shelter with room for all of us, right as the rain rolled in. Day 3 featured the endless and extremely slick boardwalks. This section has a great fun to risk ratio, with some muddy water waiting for you if you lose your balance at some sections. Lastly, the country roads back to the ferry, kinda boring, but also nice to hammer out some distance. Huge shoutout to @tobi.rides for the route, and for the rest of this crew for such a great time. 7 out of 8 bikes were Beachcombers, and the last was an Anchor + Barnacled 90s Hardrock ♡ A huge part of why i started designing bikes and parts was for exactly this reason, to gather lovely people to ride bikes with. In spite of how it may look, this was not a "Beachcombers only" kinda ride, but it worked out that way, and that was definitely a pretty cool feeling! ✌️+♡ Matias Stridsland www.stridsland.com
