This video explores an interesting idea to make 3D prints stronger by injecting molten filament into the infill. Inspired by AIM3D’s patented Voxelfill, I experiment with different techniques—from purging into negative volumes to automatically filling infill using custom G-code.
I test the impact on strength and stiffness, share my findings, and show you how to try it yourself.
This technique can be applied on any 3d printer, like Prusa MK4, Prusa CORE One, Prusa XL, Creality or Bambulab machines.
