Driving a tram as a student job? This is now possible at many transport companies. The shortage of staff is not stopping at transport companies either. And the problem will get even worse in the coming years, with the union ver.di even warning of a collapse of public transport. The Munich transport company MVG is therefore also recruiting students!
Attracted by free training and good pay, students in Munich are already driving trams through the city as a part-time job. PULS reporter Kevin Ebert is therefore conducting a self-experiment: he accompanies student and tram driver Alex on a shift and is even allowed to get behind the wheel himself. You can find out how hard the job of a tram driver is and whether you can really earn a lot of money doing it in the new PULS report.
