NJ PINE BARRENS ADVENTURE!
Today, Off Road Roos started 2025 with a trail day through Wharton State Forest and Brendan T Byrne Forest.
We started at Atsion Mansion and headed north to the Apple Pie Hill Fire Tower.
After a quick stretch break and a lunch stop at Wawa, we continued to one of our favorite sand pits to push the limits of our Subies. Puddles, hills, off camber turns, and sand were all conquered by these amazing vehicles.
From there, we found a frozen muddy mess in the middle of the sand pit. Most of the mud in this area is mixed with clay, making muddy pits a challenge to traverse, but, we decided to test the limits of our cars once more and tackle the frozen mud.
