Welcome to our Sudhagad fort Trek video! In this video, we take you through one of the most scenic and historical treks near Pali, Maharashtra.
Sudhagad is a fort in the Indian state of Maharashtra. Sudhagad means the glory of the Bhor princely state. Earlier, this fort was also called Bhorap. Later, the founder of Hindavi Swarajya, Shri Shiv Chhatrapati, touched the fort and it was named Sudhagad. The height of this fort is approximately 590 meters.
In 1648, the fort was included in Hindavi Swarajya.
How to reach:
There are 2 ways to reach the fort -
Through Thakurwadi or Daryagaon
Pachhapur village is 8 km away on the main road leading from Pali to Bhira. Thakurwadi or Daryagaon is situated further from here. From here, we can reach the fort in 2 hours by an easy trail. While going up from Thakurwadi, there is an iron ladder. There is also a path from Pachhapur village. Both these paths meet at a gorge. Here, huge armored towers welcome us. After going up from this gorge, we pass through an abandoned gate, this is the gate from Pachhapur. From here, after climbing for 15 minutes, we reach the top of the fort.

सुधागड हा भारताच्या महाराष्ट्र राज्यातील एक किल्ला आहे. सुधागड म्हणजे भोर संस्थानाचे वैभव. पूर्वी या गडाला भोरप असेही म्हणत असत. पुढे हिंदवी स्वराज्याचे संस्थापक श्री शिवछत्रपतींचा पदस्पर्श या गडाला झाला आणि याचे नाव सुधागड ठेवले गेले. या गडाची साधारणतः उंची ५९० मीटर आहे.
१६४८ साली किल्ला हिंदवी स्वराज्यात दाखल झाला.
पोहोचण्याच्या वाटा :
गडावर पोचण्यास २ वाटा आहेत -
ठाकूरवाडी अथवा दर्यागावातून
पालीपासून भिरा कडे जाणाऱ्या हमरस्त्यावर ८ किमी वर पाच्छापूर गाव आहे. येथून पुढे ठाकूरवाडी अथवा दर्यागाव वसलेले आहे. येथून एका सोप्या पायवाटेने गडावर २ तासात आपण पोचतो. ठाकूरवाडीतून वर जाताना मध्ये लोखंडी शिडी लागते. पाच्छापूर गावातूनही एक वाट वर येते. या
दोन्ही वाटा एका घळीपाशी मिळतात. येथे महाकाय चिलखती बुरुज आपले स्वागत करतात. या घळीतून वर गेल्यावर आपण एका पडक्या दरवाजातून जातो, हाच पाच्छापूर कडील दरवाजा. येथून आपण १५ मिनिटे चढल्यावर गडमाथ्यावर पोचतो.
