World's Largest Mangrove Forest is Sundarban, situated in the southern part of Bengal. It is the only mangrove where tigers are found. We call them Royal Bengal Tiger. Apart from Tiger, one can see spotted deers, wild boars, crocodiles, monitor lizards etc. Various bird species are also found. To explore the wildlife of Sundarban's, I went to embrace the wild.
Episode 1 will feature reaching Sundarban from Kolkata, taking a long boat ride, spotting of birds and enjoying jhumur dance by locals.
How to reach: We took a car to reach Gadkhali. One can also come by train to Canning and then canning to Gadkhali by trekker. From Gadkhali, we travelled to Dayapur Island by Boat.
