Ingredients of soft spongy vanilla cake: Sugar - 1 Cup Cake Tin - 6 inch Heart Shaped Cake Mould Butter Paper Egg - 4 pcs Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp Vegetable Oil - 1/4 cup Milk - 1/4 cup All Purpose Flour / Maida - 1 cup Baking Powder - 1 tsp Baking Soda - 1/2 tsp How to make Vanilla Sponge Cake at home: 1. At first take blender, add 1 cup of sugar and blend it till you get fine powder of it. Or you can use icing sugar. 2. Now take both cake moulds, place a butter paper in the size of the mould. Grease up the butter paper and the sides of cake mould with vegetable oil or butter and put aside. 3. Take a bowl crack 4 eggs, separate each egg yolks from the egg whites with the help of a plastic bottle and keep it in a separate bowl. 4. Now add 1 tsp of Vanilla Essence in the egg yolks and beat it with the help of a fork. 5. Then take a bigger bowl and pour the egg whites in it. Beat the egg whites with the help of an electric whisk for about 2 mins. After 2 mins add 1 cup of powder sugar in small quantity several times while beating the egg whites. Beat the mixture for about 10 mins till you get a foamy texture. 6. After that pour the beaten egg yolks in it and keep beating it for a minute. Then add ¼ cup of vegetable oil, ¼ cup of milk (room temperature) and beat for another 1 minute. 7. After beating for 1 minute take a medium sized strainer, pour 1 cup of all-purpose Flour, 1 tsp of baking powder, ½ tsp of baking soda and strain all the ingredients on the mixture. Then give it a good mix with a spatula so there are no lumps in the mixture. 8. Now the cake batter is ready to bake. Baking of Vanilla Sponge Cake using a Pressure Cooker: 1. Preheat a pressure cooker on high heat for 10 mins 2. Now fill the batter up to ¾ portion of the mould. Take a wooden stick and make it even and make sure there is no air bubbles and tap the mould few times. 3. After that place a metallic stand inside the pressure cooker, put the cake mould carefully inside the pressure cooker. No need to attach the Siti. 4. Bake the batter for about 40-45 mins on medium to low heat. After baking take a clean wooden stick and put inside the cake in different places, if it comes out clean it is properly cooked. Let it cool down. 5. Now to separate the cake from the mould, take a knife cut the edges of the cake place a plate on top turn it upside down tap the cake mould few times with your hand, it will come off easily. Baking of Vanilla Sponge Cake using an OTG Oven: 1. Preheat the OTG Oven for 10 mins at 180 Celsius. 2. Now take the heart shaped mould, fill up only ¾ portion with cake batter.Take a wooden stick and make it even and to make sure there is no air bubbles tap the mould few times. 3. Bake the heart shaped cake for 35-40 mins at 180 Celsius. 4. After 40 mins take out the cake and let it cool down. 5.
