This is Philadelphia Christian School in Chukienu, Tol, Chuuk State. As the time of my upload, the school is not yet accredited or chartered by the state system so the school supplies and the building itself is donated by some donors mainly Rauchholz International Consulting Organization. The organization is funded by a Korean church, and some other churches in Germany and the German embassy in Korea. As for now, we have one teacher for the first graders and second graders. We also have a k5 class that Shemera is teaching. She’s an Indian. The DOE is in the process of approving the charter for PCS so I am thankful that things are coming together. I want to thank the previous volunteers from Germany and Woleai for keeping PCS on n its feet until today. I hope more local teachers would be inspired and motivated to teach here and open a door of success to these kids. Special shoutout to Kira, Susan, and Principal Soto for the wonderful experience.
