Surah Al-Kahf (سورة الكهف), the 18th chapter of the Quran, is a Meccan surah consisting of 110 verses. The name "Al-Kahf" means "The Cave," and the surah includes several stories that provide spiritual and moral lessons. These stories include the tale of the Companions of the Cave, who sought refuge to preserve their faith; the story of the owner of two gardens, which highlights the dangers of arrogance and ingratitude; the account of Musa (Moses) and Al-Khidr, demonstrating the limits of human knowledge; and the narrative of Dhul-Qarnayn, emphasizing the responsibilities of leadership and justice.

ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنزَلَ عَلَىٰ عَبْدِهِ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ وَلَمْ يَجْعَل لَّهُۥ عِوَجًۭا (1)
"All praise is due to Allah, who has sent down upon His Servant the Book and has not made therein any deviance."
Surah Al-Kahf provides guidance on remaining steadfast in faith, the transient nature of worldly life, and the importance of seeking Allah’s mercy and wisdom. It is recommended to recite this surah on Fridays as a source of light and protection from the trials of the Dajjal (Antichrist).
