Did you know where the word "clue" comes from? There are so many words in English which originate from sewing, weaving, spinning, and knitting terms. And there are so many stories from cultures all over the world which feature these arts. Etymology is weird, y'all! I loved researching all these textile art word origins. Let's go through some of them together as I sew some accessories for my Medieval Kirtle project!
