48 Hours of Survival at 3000 Meters – Alone in Heavy Snowfall and a Fierce Blizzard

Day 1 – Battling a Deadly Snowstorm

I found myself trapped in one of the most brutal snowstorms I have ever faced. The temperature dropped to -21°C, the icy wind whipped against my face, and visibility was drastically reduced. Within minutes, everything was frozen solid. Every step, every breath, was a fight for survival. My fingers were completely numb from the cold, but in such extreme conditions, stopping was not an option – stopping meant death.

I had to build a shelter as quickly as possible to survive the night. I managed to find a massive uprooted tree and used it as a natural shelter. Immediately, I set up my tarp at the back, away from the direction of the blizzard, to protect myself from the raging storm. The air was unbearably cold, everything was covered in thick layers of ice, and even the smallest mistake could be fatal. The frozen branches felt sharp as blades, but I had to push through.

The first and most critical task was to start a fire. My hands were almost useless from the cold, but after a struggle, I finally got the fire going. That fire was my only source of warmth—the only thing standing between me and hypothermia. Once my hands regained some feeling, I started sealing my shelter with branches and leaves to keep out the snow and wind.

That night, I slept under the tree without a sleeping bag or proper gear, exposed to the freezing wilderness. Every moment was a test of endurance, but my mind was focused on one goal: surviving this deadly storm.

Day 2 – Relocating, Hailstorm, and Survival Cooking

At sunrise, I decided to move to a different location and set up a new camp. But as soon as I started walking, a sudden hailstorm began. The hailstones hit me hard, making every step even more difficult.

This time, I built my shelter under a massive fallen tree trunk to get better protection. To restore my energy, I cooked a salmon over the fire. Every bite of that warm meal felt like a lifeline, giving me the strength to keep going.

At 3000 meters above sea level, in a relentless blizzard and freezing temperatures, every moment was a battle, and every decision was a matter of life and death. Can I survive this ruthless winter storm?

Watch as I face nature’s most brutal conditions and fight for survival.
