This week we dive into the world of the Japanese small car with a review and test drive. We are talking turbo motors, right hand drive, and tiny cars with motorcycle engines. That's right, we must be talking about doing a review of a Kei car in America! This week we check out a fun little 1994 Suzuki Alto Works RSX. The Suzuki Alto is a Kei car in the same fashion as the more popular Autozam AZ1, Honda Beat, or Suzuki Cappuccino, or as they are known the ABC Kei Cars. The Suzuki Alto may not be as well known as the aforementioned cars, but that doesn't keep it from being just as fun. This Alto has an GFB Boost controller, a PAL sports pcm, RSR Sport lowering springs, aftermarket shocks, Artisan Spirit 15" wheels, and AEM boost, temp, oil pressure gauges. Join us as we talk to the owner of this Suzuki Alto works and do a full review of the car while covering its tiny size, its modified nature, and what its like to own a car that is really from Japan. 00:00 - Intro to the Suzuki Alto Works RSX! 00:15 - Quick over view of the Alto 00:43 - Information about the Alto Works RSX from the Owner 01:50 - Parking a Kei car downtown 01:58 - How much power does a Kei car make? 02:40 - Driving a Kei car around an American city 03:08 - Power and modifications to the Alto 04:35 - What is the redline on the 3 cylinder turbo engine? 05:18 - How much boost is the Alto running? 07:34 - Engine bay overview of the Alto 08:48 - Driving around inside the car with engine and turbo noises 11:13 - Street racing an NB Miata - Round 1 12:01 - Street racing the Mazda Miata again - Round 2
