In this build I’m forging Glamdring, Gandalf’s sword from Lord of the Rings! This build took about a month and a half to forge and finish and I learned a ton along the way! I used almost all of the tools in my shop to get it done and I’m super proud of this one! The blade is 5160 steel, the pommel and guard are cold rolled steel, the handle is hand waxed Brazilian Purple Heart wood.
Overall length is 45 inches. Blade length is 35 inches.
