Taking a first draft to a second draft in my Regency romance • A Writing Vlog • Meredith E. Phillips

My camera mic was really out to get me over this weekend, but I think I managed to save you from most of the audio issues. SORRY!! I think I figured out what was messing up and it should be fixed for next week. ANYWAY. I've been going through each scene in Act I and figuring out how to fit in missing descriptions, clarifying plot points and character motivations, adding emotional beats, and fixing plot holes. So far so good! Let me know if the details on how I changed chapter 1 were helpful and/or interesting. I am working on a longer video that will hopefully give more revision tips and suggestions, so if you have any other questions or frustrations regarding that part of the writing process, let me know!
