As you may know, some time ago, my grandmother's nephew passed away. This painful event brought a heavy sorrow to our family and relatives. Among the Lur people, one of the beautiful and humane traditions is to bring food to the grieving family for a period of time as a gesture of condolence and sympathy. This act symbolizes solidarity and collective support, bringing people closer during difficult times. In accordance with this cherished tradition, today my grandmother's family decided to prepare food for my uncle's family. From early in the morning, everyone worked together to cook the meals. My grandmother, with her usual love and dedication, gave instructions for the recipes, and everyone followed them attentively. This effort was not only a tribute to our traditions but also an opportunity to express affection and emotional support for my uncle and his family. When the meals were ready, they were carefully arranged in containers and respectfully taken to my uncle's house. These traditions, rooted in the culture and history of the Lur people, serve as a reminder that in times of hardship, the support and companionship of others can provide comfort to grieving hearts. Today, by fulfilling this duty, we honored the memory of our lost loved one and paid tribute to the beautiful values of our culture.
