We need a tall glass vase, any height from 50-70cm will do. The inside of the vase needs to be filled with fresh curly willow branches and two orchids can be placed inside the vase back to back to fill the void. Then, on the top of the vase, you need to fix a plastic cup filled with a floral sponge that was soaked in advance. The plastic soft cup or pot cover should fit the neck of the vase. It can be simply trimmed with scissors if it is tall. It is necessary to secure the sponge/oasis container with a piece of chicken wire and sticky floral tape. We need to cover the oasis with chicken wire to secure everything together and nothing will come loose or crumble. The tape can be covered with a piece of ribbon or any other decoration. Use waterproof poly satin ribbon, because if during the arranging process some water is displaced from the container, covering ribbon stays the same. Then you will need about 40 stems of white dendrobium orchids. Start arranging the centrepiece with hydrangea. Large blooms of premium white hydrangea will cover the oasis almost completely. Then take the branches of curly willow and fill the top of the arrangement in the middle. Insert stems of dendrobium orchids between and around curly willow branches evenly, cutting off the ends of the stems. It doesn’t have to be symmetrical it just has to be visually appealing and up to standards you wish to achieve. Insert dendrobium orchids to create a cascading spray effect. There is no uniform pattern to follow here. It is quite easy when you do not have to follow specific guidelines, just follow your visualization, because you are working with the dimension you are seeing. Use potted Phalaenopsis orchids to complete the arrangement. Phalaenopsis orchids help you to achieve a very expensive and luxurious look. This is very sustainable to use potted orchids ,because you can always regrow orchids. As a rule, when you fill everything around, then the green sponge will no longer be visible. Such a composition is very voluminous and takes up a lot of space, therefore transportation may be problematic. This type of decoration is best prepared on site in the banquet hall in the morning before the wedding.
