Hi, and welcome to another ‘Barbarossa Video’. Only for the second time on the channel I’m making a small vignette instead of the usual larger diorama.
The inspiration for this was Tamiya’s relatively new Machine Gun team set, released in 2024. As mentioned in the video, Tamiya released a similar 7 man set in 1988, and this was a smart new figure set with a terrific piece of box art. The figures were built straight out of the box, apart from changing some heads to resin ones.
The vignette itself is built mainly from scratch using foam and plastic card. I wanted a reasonably small base to put everything on & decided on an industrial factory setting. All set on a wooden plaque.
** As somebody kindly pointed out, with the bricks in the wall I should have said 2.5mm x 7.5mm and not 25mm x 75mm🫣**
