Tool-assisted speedrun (TAS) of Time Crisis 1 arcade in 8'37"82 (Story mode)
Goal: Finish the game as fast as possible without worrying about accuracy.

Notes:
-It is possible to fire every 4 frames, so you can empty your clip in less than half a second (21 frames).
-It takes at least 12 frames to reload. And you have to wait another 10 frames before you can reshoot. Thus, the TAS must wait 22 frames between clips.
-Here is a list of things I did in this TAS. If you know of other time savers, let me know.
-At 2:29 I shoot at the car
-At 4:26 I didn't shoot the thing on the right of the screen. The animation of all the pillars falling on enemies is fun to watch but if I did that I lost 5 seconds. But in a normal game, I think it probably takes less time than shooting everyone.
-At 10:04 I shot the Yellow Ninja before he jumped somewhere else.
-At 11:56 and 12:05 I shot the two grenades
Thanks Kim Sama / キム様 for some hints.
But the thing I did that saved me the most time was shooting enemies three times instead of one.
For some reason, when shooting an enemy, if you shoot them 2 times, the death animation is shorter, and if you shoot them 3 times, it's even shorter. Since very often the game waits for the end of dying animations before advancing, in the end you save a lot of time because of this.
The time saved with this trick is much more than I had expected.
You would think doing this trick on the last enemy before moving is enough, but in a TAS, when there are 4 enemies to shoot, it's often faster to shoot the first two with 3 bullets each, then reload then shoot the other two also with 3 bullets each. In some places I gained 1 second with this.
As this complicated the TAS, it is more than possible that I missed a few tenths of a second here and there.
