We are continuing our journey through the 5 tastes! Swear and sour has always been a tasty combination. Think lemonheads, sour patch kids, sweet and sour chicken, the list goes on. Join us as we make apple brie puff pastry and embark on a new series taste tests using Miracle Berries. Experiment -1 freeze dried miracle berry per participant (We used Ohh! Berry Miracle Berry for amazon) - Anything sour or bitter; lemon, lime, onion, pickles, etc. Recipe: Apple Brie Puff Pastry - 1 apple peeled and diced - 1 T Orange juice - 1/2 T agave 1/2 - 1 t. Cinnamon 4oz. Brie Cheese Puff pastry of choice (We used Sweet Loren's) 1 Egg, Beaten 1. Mix first 4 ingredients together and heat in pan over medium heat. Stir till soften. set aside to cool. 2. Roll out puff pastry and cut into 12 equal squares. 3. Cut the brie into. 12 pieces. Place one in the center of each square. spoon apple mixture on the top of each piece of cheese. Be careful to not over fill. 4. Brush each corner with egg wash and pinch corners together. Place inside muffin pan to keep from unfolding. 5.
