Taylor Bay is found off the south coast of Providenciales near Chalk Sound and west of Sapodilla Bay. This scenic beach isn't extensive and is only about 2,000 feet (600 m) long. Sheltered by the small Ocean Point peninsula from the regular southeast trade winds, the water here is very shallow, calm, and clear (making it an excellent beach choice when visiting with small children).
This beach can be fascinating to explore during very low tides, when large patches of sand with intricate patterns become exposed.
Quite a few rental vacation villas are located in this area. That being said, the beach rarely sees any crowds. There’s no decent snorkeling nearby—while the low sea cliffs that fringe both ends of the beach shelter a few small fish and soft corals, they don't offer much else.
Found nearby is the busier Sapodilla Bay, along with the Sapodilla Bay Hill Rock Carvings and Chalk Sound National Park.
