I snipped out the section from "Queen of the Night" parrots really like and repeated it, interspersed with silence. The aria, sung by Diana Damrau, is from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's The Magic Flute. A parrot might learn this more quickly by listening to another parrot, but a copy of a copy is always of poor quality. Why not see how good your parrot really is? If that doesn't work, there are videos of other parrots singing this section of the aria.
The video portion follows the development of my baby blue-fronted Amazon parrot, Kizzy, from three weeks old to fully-fledged.
Play as much or as little as you and your parrot can tolerate. The video might be boring to anyone who didn't raise this baby bird and who doesn't want to listen to the same little snippet of music over and over.
Enjoy! Or not.
