Teaching math to preschoolers doesn’t have to be stressful! In this video, I’ll share **developmentally appropriate strategies** to help young learners build confidence and a love of math. Here’s the approach I use:

1️⃣ Concrete Counting: Start with hands-on activities and manipulatives to make numbers tangible and fun.
2️⃣ Pictorial Counting: Transition to pictures and visuals only when concrete counting is mastered.
3️⃣ Abstract Learning: Introduce numeric symbols and quantities once they’re developmentally ready.

All of this is done with a focus on "playful learning" because learning through play is the most effective way for 3-5 year-olds to develop math skills!

It’s important to honor where each child is developmentally—avoiding pressure or rushing to abstract concepts helps maintain their love of learning and builds their confidence during this critical stage of self-awareness.

If you’re looking for practical, engaging, and age-appropriate math teaching tips, this video is for you! 🌟
