We make the long trip down to our old cabin to tear down the garden, fencing, and paint the deck we weren't able to complete last summer. The garden once provided us with a year's worth of food but it's time for us to move on and put all of our energy into our new home, including rebuilding a garden next year. After taking care of the driveway at our wooded lot, we head back north with a trailer full of firewood and a little bit of weight off our shoulders.
