TensorFlow London: Introduction to Gaussian processes using TensorFlow based library GPflow

Speaker: Mark van der Wilk, Senior Machine Learning Researcher at Prowler Title: Introduction to Gaussian processes using TensorFlow based library GPflow Bio: Mark is a machine learning researcher at PROWLER.io, working on automatic and uncertainty-aware deep learning algorithms based on Gaussian processes, for use in model-based reinforcement learning. He finished his PhD at the University of Cambridge in 2017, during which he worked on applied machine learning projects at various companies, including Google. Abstract: Mark will give an introduction to Gaussian processes using the TensorFlow based library GPflow. He will give a brief overview of Gaussian processes (with nice visualisations!), give some examples based on the software, and present some recent research directions. It will be a mix of a tutorial, software overview, and some research highlights.
