This Asian inspired dish from THM is delicious as well as healthy and diet friendly. And its also made easy in the crockpot. Enjoy!
Teriyaki beef and broccoli (Crockpot) – S Meal on Trim Healthy Mama
Put in Crockpot: 2 ½ - 3 lbs boneless beef chuck roast diced, 1 onion sliced & 4 – 5 cloves of garlic minced
Make Sauce in blender: 1 inch fresh ginger, ¼ - ½ tsp red pepper flakes, 1/3 – ½ cup soy sauce, 1/3 cup rice vinegar, 2 TBSP Monkfruit or gentle sweet, 2 TBSP toasted sesame oil, ¼ cup water
Pour sauce over beef and cook in crockpot 4 – 6 hours.
Add 1 16 oz pk frozen broccoli spears, and cook additional 45 min.
Serve over Caul rice and top with sesame seeds and chopped green onion
