HW3 vehicles are finally receiving the new FSD v12.6.1 update!(2024.45.25.15) This update is largely built upon enhancements from FSD v13. So you can think of it as FSD v13 lite. In this video I will take a few short trips and find the performance is noticeably improved.
Improvements noticed so far in this release:
Doesn’t appear to be affected by direct sunlight anymore. (This is huge!)
No more stopping at green lights. (Also huge improvement)
When approaching a stop sign, it stops closer to edge of stop line.
Makes earlier lane change decisions in preparation for upcoming turns on navigation route.
Overall smoother acceleration, stopping, and lane changes.
Is able to start FSD without touching accelerator.
I’m sure there are many more but these are the top improvements that I have noticed so far. This is an amazing update for HW3 and I can’t wait for further improvements to come!
