The sentiment of this song I felt was the perfect embodiment of Tessa and Scott’s story. It’s a song about love, but not romantic love. It’s about finding unity in each other’s differences. Embracing differences and championing them. It’s about unconditional love. Supporting each other no matter what. When something is this special, you need to take care of it. Nurture it. Protect it. Something this special is rare enough as it is. ‘People search their whole lives’ for that. One love, one life, we get to carry each other. It won’t be easy, but the regret of not trying will hurt even more.
